Your Itinerary

Day 1-4 – Beijing

Day 1-4 – Beijing

On Day 1, depart from the UK and begin your journey to Beijing. On Day 2, relax at the hotel’s pool or bamboo garden, or explore Beijing’s Central Business District, with shops and restaurants just 15 minutes away. On Day 3, enjoy a guided tour of Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, followed by a visit to the Summer Palace. On Day 4, explore the Great Wall of China and the Temple of Heaven.

Day 5 & 6 – Xi’an

Day 5 & 6 – Xi’an

On Day 5, we’ll board the high-speed Bullet Train from Beijing to Xi’an, reaching speeds of up to 350km/h for a smooth 5-hour ride. Upon arrival, we’ll visit the Ancient City Wall, one of China’s most complete and historic defenses. On Day 6, we’ll explore the Terracotta Army, a world-renowned discovery, then visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda before finishing the day in the vibrant Muslim Quarter, sampling local food and shopping for souvenirs.

Day 7 & 8 – Chengdu

On Day 7, we’ll board the high-speed train to Chengdu, arriving in the afternoon. First, we’ll visit Du Fu Thatched Cottage, a serene park honoring the Tang dynasty poet. Afterward, we’ll stroll through Jin Li Street, where you can shop for local crafts and enjoy traditional tea houses. On Day 8, we’ll visit the Chengdu Panda Breeding Centre to see pandas up close, then explore People’s Park, where locals enjoy activities and tea.

Day 9 – Guilin

We’ll fly from Chengdu to Guilin, known for its stunning landscapes. Upon arrival, we’ll explore the Reed Flute Caves, famous for its colorful stalactites and stalagmites, with ancient inscriptions dating back to the Tang Dynasty. After checking into our hotel, you’ll have free time to explore Guilin, where you can try local dishes and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of this beautiful city.

Day 10 – Li River Cruise

This morning, we’ll enjoy a scenic Li River Cruise, passing limestone karsts and lush landscapes that have inspired Chinese artists for centuries. Keep your camera ready for stunning views of rice paddies, bamboo groves, and local farmers. After lunch on board, we’ll visit Yangshuo, a charming town with vibrant streets filled with shops, cafes, and local art where you can find beautiful jade, pearls, and paintings.

Day 11 & 12 – Shanghai

On Day 11, we’ll fly to Shanghai, a dynamic blend of colonial and modern living. In the evening, enjoy your first taste of Shanghai’s vibrant gastronomic scene at a local restaurant. Day 12 begins with a visit to Yuyuan Garden, a serene escape with pavilions, pools, and temples. Then, explore the Jade Buddha Temple, home to two magnificent jade Buddha statues. In the evening, discover Nanjing Road for shopping and local treats.

Day 13 & 14 – Returning Home

On Day 13, we’ll say goodbye to Shanghai and transfer to the airport for our return flight back to the UK, taking with us memories of China’s rich history and stunning landscapes. On Day 14, we’ll arrive back home after a truly unforgettable tour, filled with incredible experiences and cultural insights, ensuring this journey remains a cherished memory for years to come.
